The ALSC International Relations Committee (IRC), USBBY, and the children's book publishing community invite you to their ALA program -- ?Passport to Global Understanding: International Children?s Books & Publishing? -- on Saturday, June 24, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in Room 286-87 of the convention center in New Orleans. Speakers include members of the publishing community: Margie Wolfe (Second Story Press), Stephen Roxburgh (Front Street), Emma Dryden (S&S), and Anne Hoppe (HarperCollins); authors: Karen Levine, Deborah Ellis, Rukhsana Khan, and Ifeoma Onyefulu; plus the keynote speaker: Junko Yokota (National-Louis University); and other speakers include Susan Stan (Central Michigan University) and Joan Atkinson (University of Alabama).
