I'm posting here info on the fast approaching RMC-SCBWI Summer Retreat, June 23-25th, right here in Colorado Springs, CO.

The retreat will take place at the St. Francis Retreat Center. Award-winning author, Randy Powell, will lead this 3-day workshop. The emphasis is on moving forward with your middle-grade or young adult novel. Bring what you have, even if it's only an idea trying to become an award-winning novel.

Area writers are all invited, not just children writers, as the material Powell will be covering applies across the board. The title of the workshop is, "Learn, Create, Write, Revise . Taking Your Novel to the Next Level."
