I, too, found LITTLE WOMEN by Alcott, a life-changing book. Having grown up in a poor, totally dysfunctional household (at least that is what the proper term is today; I still call it 'crazy!), the March family was the family I did not have.
I still cry when Beth dies. I still marvel at Jo's tenacity.
I loved and still love this classic slice of literature.
