Great question!

In 5th grade, I read Madeline L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time which resonated with me deeply. I love a lot of her books. Later, in 8th, I read Vera and Bill Cleaver's Where the Lilies Bloom, clicked in terms of life, responsibility and plants. In 9th or 10th, it was Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird's Secret Life of Plants. Twenty-odd years later, I read Jennifer Cobb's CyberGrace: The Search for God in the Digital World, which brought me back to the next level of that same spiral ;)
