For more than forty years I have collected books to use in my teaching and for my own personal enjoyment. I have retired and now must part with most of my collection. I will soon be moving from a 4000 square foot house to a 400 square foot RV and cannot store this huge collection. I would like to donate these books and thought members of CCBC might be able to help me find a good home for them. I have thousands of hardback and paperback books suitable for children preschool through elementary grades. Bookshelves and transportation of the books to their new home are included in this donation.

The books are in excellent condition and represent a wide range of topics. Yesterday I sorted 200 alphabet books and have added 150 of them to the donation group. I have at least 50 poetry titles set aside, etc. I will need to deliver the books and bookcases to their new home between July and September.
