Yehuda Nir wrote an adult memoir of his experience during WWII in Poland which was later shortened a bit and published by Scholastic. Every survivor's story is different but his was most unusual because as a young teen, he joined Polish resistance fighters who would have turned on him had they known he was Jewish. One adventure after another makes THE LOST CHILDHOOD an exciting read for age 10 up.
THE BOYS FROM ST. PETRI by Bjarne Reuter is a novel for age 10 up based on a true story of the Danish resistance. Two teenage brothers and a few friends organized sabotage of the German occupiers. I understand it was made into a film, too.
