Regarding the comment from Maia: "It is up to each parent to decide how and when to disseminate information."
If that point of view is to prevail, then I have to ask where that leaves librarians and teachers? Are parents to dictate what information is to be disseminated to their children outside of the home? There are some parents trying to do that now with public schools and I have to say it is not a pretty picture.
