-Thanks everyone for the information. On a whim I decided to check out the library's site where I got the book and they still have it! I love the Internet. I happen to be leaving to go to RI tonight (where I grew up) so maybe I'll pay the library a visit tomorrow (may as well donate one of my books to them while I'm at it).

Was I an unusual child because I liked the gritty details or can lots of children handle tough subject matter? I remember reading Cricket in Times Sq. at the same time (class assignment) and it didn't interest me at all. I think I was given the wrong books to read!
