So what becomes a lavishly illustrated volume of poetry?
SONG OF THE WATER BOATMAN by Joyce Sidman which brings first time ILLUSTRATOR a Caldecott Honor Book
and the winner of the 2006 Lee Bennett Hopkins Poetry Award (of which I have nothing to do with other than sponsoring same!)
So where is this discussion going?
