take a look at a definition of verse and see that most of these novels...even the ones using a "free verse" kind of style(that term itself hanging on since post wwII mislabel)are not really verse....(except for the really bad ones which employ a verser and verser verse....)
and since there are so many styles and variations and hybrids and organic and artificial combinations and permutations...why the need for the s i n g l e label.....hello my name is...stuck to the chest of the novel...making it easy....ah...the making it easy....
