On Sunday, April 30, as part of the PEN World Voices Festival there will be the following conversations and a panel, held at Pace University: 3 Spruce St, (Across from City Hall Park) New York City. Admission: Free

4:00 Suitable for Children: Francesca Lia Block, Tonya Bolden, David Grossman, Hanna Jansen, Anne Provoost; moderated by Arthur A. Levine
        Stories for children, be they legend, fairly tales, or contemporary works of fiction and nonfiction have always addressed the thornier issues of life. Is it becoming more difficult for writers to do that? What, if any, are the parameters for writing about religion and politics in books for young readers? And what are the risks for the writer who dares to do so?
