The request below was sent to me by a library staff member who received it on her listserv. I thought maybe one of you on the ccbc-net might know of the book and respond to this person at Arizona State University. I am sure her mother would be overjoyed to read this book from her childhood again.K. Laurel Balkema, Senior Reference Librarian Children's, & Young Adult Literature Collections Grand Valley State University Library ALLENDALE MI 49401-9403 e:mail: balkemal at gvsu.edu HERE IS THE REQUEST: >"My mom wants to find a book she had as a child. It was about a postmaster's daughter, living in Denmark. My mom got the book in about 1934, so it had to have been >published at some point around or before then. She doesn't know if it was fiction or nonfiction. It is NOT "The Postmaster's Daughter," by Louis Tracy. Any ideas??" Thank you.
