I am likewise very pleased about the diversity of genres represented in the awards, and wanted to add these comments--
Don't forget, too, that BLACK JUICE, a Printz Honor, is one of the finest short story collections we've seen in a long time.
SONG OF THE WATER BOATMAN is a great poetry title, but don't forget, too, that half the text is informational.
Folklore doesn't often get recognized, but strands of it are woven into both ZEN SHORTS and WHITTINGTON.
