I haven't heard anyone discuss the Printz yet, so I wanted to put in a few high marks for the excellent choice for this year's award. Yes, it suffered from the YA cliche of morbid dark books, but who knows what darkness lurks in the hearts of adolescents?
I'm also really not a fan of teen "boy" books, but this one broke through for me, being at the top of a very large heap of YA books I read through this year. A truly stunning entry to the genre.
