The webcast was a wonderful, bright way to begin a RAINY Monday in Birmingham, Alabama. My class of 2nd graders loved watching and felt as if they were participating. What a great idea...thank you, thank you, THANK YOU ALA for providing the webcast. I hope it happens in years to come! Sure beats calling the 1-800 number of years ago...or waiting for the website to update as of late.
Cheers to ALL of the winners! Clark Underbakke...Devin, Andrew, Caleb, Garrett, Lauren, Jackson, Tahjay, Emily, Chandler, Corey, Jessica, Dante', Jordan, Nathan, Taylor, Marleni, Kennedy and Amanda... Trace Crossings Elementary Hoover, AL

....It was wonderful for my middle school students to be able to share in the excitement of the award announcements right along with the audience at the ALA convention through the webcast. Our library was decorated with bouquets of gold balloons and we clapped right along as each award was announced. I hope to make this an annual event.
