Excellent recap, Elliott! Yes, it was great to be able to watch the live webcast!
I finished reading "The Penderwicks" over the weekend and just loved it, the characters, the style--the way it felt older yet was modern. I also began "Where I Want to Be," a National Book Award honor title. I thought it was interesting that there was no overlap between the ALA awards today and the National Book Award winners we've been discussing.
Enjoy savoring the results and sharing these books!
