I've been picking up some out of print books on Amazon and a fairly high percentage of books there are being sold by BWB. No complaints about their efficient deliveries and books arriving in the condition described.

It looks like NCFL has a press release on BWB on their site: http://www.famlit.org/AboutNCFL/PressRoom/CurrentPressReleases/NCFL-and-Better-World-Books.cfm
>From doing some Googling, it looks like the organization was known as Campus Community Outreach up until 2004. Info from Room to Read: http://www.roomtoread.org/pdfs/rtr_cco_partnership.pdf
Books for Africa states in an online newsletter that BWB provided $40K in unrestricted donations to them in 2004.
I'm surprised that their name didn't get flagged as being too similar to Books for a Better World, which is a non-profit. It definitely looks like an interesting program; I wonder if one can request an annual report from them to see their real numbers.
