Hello Again - I want to make certain you can locate the important book "Hitler Youth," and so here I've corrected the publisher error I made in the earlier message... GMK
****************************************************************** The season is so busy that there's no time to write why I appreciate each of these books. However I want to chime in before so many of you vanish into your holiday lives. These books are vastly different from each other, so it'll be impossible to drawing many or any conclusions from the list. Believe it or not, I'm not mentioning all the books I admire. Not at all! I began with the idea that I'd list a baker's dozen, but that became impossible.
Incidentally, I also appreciated Summertime Waltz, as a couple of others in the CCBC-Net community have mentioned. Like so many other visually adventuresome books, I hope it doesn't get lost in the proverbial shuffle. So far no one has mentioned the newest Harry Potter book. I'm not trying to begin a dialogue about that, but it's a curious omission.
Even though these books are NOT all gift-material, perhaps you'll find time during the next month or two to locate each one of them. My apologies for missing all necessary diacriticals and for all the typos, as well.
Good Day, and Good Luck (reading and shopping), Ginny
