Paul Goble, the distinguished author and illustrator of over thirty-five children's books about, or related to, the American Plains Indians, is the 48th Regina Medalist. The Children's Library Services Section of Catholic Library Association annually selects a recipient of the award, based upon the honoree's lifetime dedication and excellence in the field of children's literature. Mr. Goble will receive the Regina Medal at a luncheon in his honor on April 19, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia.
