I hope they read the Damar story in McKinley/Dickinson's /Water: Tales of Elemental Spirits/... it ties Damar to modernity in an interesting way. There are also Damarianish shorts with Luthe in /A Knot in the Grain/. And /Deerskin/ has tiny flashes of Damar.
Another Damarian story is implied in /The Blue Sword/ when she drinks the water of truth, but I don't know if we will get it. The latest,
/Sunshine/ is quite a different tack for McKinley.
