As far as a book drive is concerned, in my judgment it is far too premature. Those people are in desperate need of food, water, clothing, housing, medical attention, and buses to take them to other locations. It is impossible to know where all of the people who have lost their homes, or whose homes have been badly damaged, will live and for how long. Yes, books have value but for the immediate future, I am sure people in that area have far more pressing/dire concerns. Norma Jean
