Sorry, but I am catching up on digests and wanted to comment. I enjoyed the Prime Minister chapter. I thought it was a creative way to show the connection between the Muggle and Wizard worlds and to fill everyone in on the backstory without throwing in paragraphs of explanation here and there throughout the book.
And as for the chapter implying a wretched, far-away, Republican president, according to www.hp-lexicon.org, a wonderful Harry Potter website, these events would have happened in July of 1996, a time when said president would have most definitely not been Republican. So I guess everyone can laugh, depending on your perspective...
