This is what I liked about it. I felt the last book was good, but the action was swift and I didn't get as much a chance to enjoy the characters as I had in the past. This book was more character driven, which gave me a deep pleasure in anticipating or predicting the actions of folks based on what I already knew about them. It felt like a pleasant romp with old friends...that turns into an adventure. diane
