Coleen's daughter tells me that Coleen is safe. She left for vacation in Hawaii before anyone realized just how dangerous Katrina was going to be for New Orleans and she intends to stay with relatives out west until it's safe to return. She and her family are, of course, worried about still rising waters and looters in the French Quarter, but happy that they are all safe.
