Lisa (and all)

Thank you for your questions and concerns.

We will be sending out a message in early August to outline the changes to CCBC-Net. At this point, we are still determining what is possible and preferable. (One of the things that will be definitely be easier, however, are all the administrative functions such as signing off.)

In the meantime, anyone who has questions or concerns about this or anything else should e-mail one of us at the CCBC directly.

For a complete list of contact information, see our web site at http://www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/about/contact.asp

Now let's get back to perspectives on gender!

Access to CCBC archivesI am concerned that my graduate students will not have access to the archives without joining the list. Can one be a member without being part of the listserv? Nothing is more annoying than those repetitious
"take me off this list" requests at the end of every semester.
As to PABBIS- do you all remember the Dr. Laura hoo-ha a few years ago? I was aghast that we, librarians were not fighting back. I was told by the learned elders that it was better to advocate than react.
