First of all, no, it clearly has him listed as the author. And I think the reason it seems unfair to call it creepy is because he alone didn't write the book. His female editor at S&S (can't remember her name) collaborated with him on characters, plot, etc. He didn't conceive it alone. Also, if you do read the book you'll see that it's not chick lit. I think that's misconstrued by the lipstick on the cover.
