Oh dear, I was afraid that would be misread! What I wrote was:
"Writing accurate text shouldn't have been too difficult; the material is fairly straightforward. (The rendition of the material, however, is gorgeous; this was one of my favorite purchases of last year.)"
To clarify, /evolution/ is fairly straightforward (controversial or no). How Lisa /rendered/ that material was, as I said, gorgeous. I love this book.
Just wanted to clear that up!
