Historically, the teaching of evolution in schools, as well as children's books about evolution, have always raised a brow in some circles...the difference is the volume, and these days, the volume is high. To anyone who has been associated with children's books for a long time, certain subjects/areas are cyclical, evolution being one...the same tape is played no matter the decade. Norma Jean
