Vermont College Short Fiction conference

On July 23 and 24th, the Vermont College MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults will host a weekend conference, "A Few Good Words: Short Fiction for Young Readers." There will be seminars, workshops, and book discussions. Guest speakers include Michael Cart, Melanie Kroupa, Ellen Wittlinger, and David Gifaldi, and faculty who will speak include Kathi Appelt, Norma Fox Mazer, Liza Ketchum, Tim Wynne Jones, Ron Koertge, and others. For further information, email administrator Melissa Fisher at melissa.fisher at tui.edu Cost for the whole weekend is $125; for one day
$75, and dorm rooms with cafeteria meals (catered by the New England Culinary Institute) are $55. These weekends fill up quickly, so contact Melissa soon!
