An editorial in Newsweek jarred me on Anne Frank. It asked what Anne, the sweet and courageous idealist Anne, would be like that year-79--her 50th birthday. Would she have lost her idealism? Would she have outfitted a house with all the latest appointments? Would she be politically active?
Life has been roaring along and we have new stereotypes as well as the old puzzle pieces for each gender. And new roles and reading. The more, the merrier!?!
