Lisa, thanks so much for telling us a little about "Our Family Tree." I admire you for writing it -- not just because you took on what is considered to be a controversial topic in these times, but because your prose is so fine that it begs to be read aloud.
I am eager to see your new book about the volcano. I am curious as to why you chose to write it as poetry rather than prose. Would you tell us a little about the decisions you made in shaping this book?
