The market...librarians, booksellers, parents, kids, teachers...determine what sells; not publishers. One should not assume that because a book is published, it will sell...many do not, and for all sorts of different reasons. If publishers could control sales, the business would be far less complicated than it is; even books that are heavily promoted can fail. Norma Jean
