Dotti, I understand where you are coming from, but it is my guess that you probably always loved to read. I did not. There are many children out there who are like I was. My mentality was that I was either going to not read AT ALL or I was going to read what I enjoyed. You can't FORCE a child to read, especially if they have attention problems. A child's life expectancy wouldn't be long if they lived on candy alone, but no child will be irreparably harmed because they read some humorous books!
Okay, that's the last out of me. Promise.
