Gregor the Overlander was one of the books recommended by Librarian Nancy Perl as a terrific family read-aloud (or as she put it - an alternative to Harry Potter) on NPR's Morning Edition this last week. She did a short book talk on it, so I would guess that public libraries are going to have requests for this book this summer.
