Hi Everyone,
    This is my first post and I've been watching for the past several months.
 I am currently MLIS student at Florida State with a concentration in Information Needs of Youth and have been finding this listserve unbelievably insightful! Currenly on my nightstand I have Among the Enemy -- the sixth installment of the Shadow Children Series by Margaret Peterson Haddix. This series is immensly popular with our forth and fifth graders and since it just came out, I'm reading it with two of my fifth graders. The first five books were fantastic and I am hopeful that I won't be disappointed with this one, I just need to stay awake long enough to read more than one page of "pleasure reading."
    Last weekend I finished City of Ember and it was an outstanding book -- can't wait to read People of Sparks when I finish my current book!
    I must comment to you authors in this listserve, I am amazed and in awe at your ability to create the stories you do!
