I???m a little less sure of the Edge Chronicles. At first I thought it was pretty derivative. Hardly a plot element I had not seen before. Before long, Twig
???s story had grabbed me. The illustrations are a real plus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mary Ann, It's funny that you mentioned the Edge Chronicles. I've gotten them out before for my son, who enjoyed them. Now I'm planning on reading them for myself. The illustrations are incredible. The fact that they used illustrations like that in the books was what drew me to them in the first place. Now you've got me wanting to read "The Search for Belle Prater". Did you read both of those in one night? Wow! Amy Moreno
