Yes, truly the beauty of poetry is that it can take many forms. It can be clever or heartbreaking. It's many things. I hope we don't overlook the value of uncluttered, pure poetry, with scansion, good and sure rhyme patterns, etc., and free verse poetry that says something, that still has poetic and metaphorical language and elements woven clear through. So many of the novels in verse are lacking in this arena, and the magic of poetry is non-existent.
