If you are a member of ALSC, the 2007 Arbuthnot Award Committee encourages you to submit nominations for the committee to consider in its deliberations at this summer's ALA meeting in Chicago.

Just to remind you: 1. The lecture shall be given by a person who has made a distinguished contribution to the field of children?s literature. The lecturer need not be restricted to residents of the United States. 2. The lecturer may be related to the field in any area: author, illustrator, editor, publisher, professor of children?s literature, art director, etc.
