In the 1950's I did a fictionalized version of the Till case as Vin Packer, a paperback for Gold Medal books. It was called Dark Don't Catch Me, a saying among blacks in small Southern towns who weren't supposed to appear
"downtown" after dark, or ever wearing a necktie. I know that now a playwright named Claire Coss has written a play about Till and it is being produced off Broadway in NYC. I don't know when. FYI. Mekerr.
