Dear CCBC Subscribers,
I'd like to take this opportunity to make announcements to let you know about the wonderful Children's Literature that will take place at our college on April 9, 2005. We hope many of you in the area can attend. Please see the details below. Thank you. Marianne Saccardi
On April 9, 2005, the Early Childhood Department at Norwalk Community College, CT, will hold a children's literature conference for preschool and primary grade teachers, parents, and children's librarians. Children's author/illustrator, Betsy Lewin, will be the keynote speaker. Several workshops, such as storytelling, using drama and creative play, voice improvisation, and writing will also be offered by noted educators and storytellers, and Betsy will sign her books. The $40.00 registration fee includes breakfast and lunch. The day will begin at 8:30 and end at 2:30, and participants will receive continuing education credits.
