Knuffle Bunny

I have used Knuffle Bunny during story time with K-2 students. For the most part, the students think that the story is hilarious and they usually consistently ask for it to be read again. One interesting thing I found though, was that very few kindergarten and first grade students giggled and reacted to the page when "a particular female undergarment" was being waved in the air. Second grade students, of course, reacted more often. I too wondered if the younger students knew what "it" was or that they just haven't been exposed to what "it" is yet. Diane Randerson
