In my last post I failed to mention that a number of members of the CCBC-Net community have served on the Newbery committee over the years. We welcome the insights of any committee member (past or present) into the process, the purpose, etc.
And so many of you--regardless of whether you've served on the committee-have insights into the books and award from your own reading and using the books with children!
