2005 Caldecott Award Books

The subtle coloring in KFFM perfectly captures that look of moonlight.

Any cat people in the group know that the changes in expression and face of the kitten are spot-on; cats can do amazing things with their faces.

I agree with one colleague that the one page where kitten returns home is awkward to follow. When we look at pictures, the eye naturally goes in something of a circle, drawn from picture to picture. These pictures are arranged like print on the page, and it is (a bit) jarring.
