Visitors to or residents of the Northeast may want to consider a trip to the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, in Amherst, MA, which will present the exhibition
"The Picture Book Made New: Margaret Wise Brown and Her Illustrators," from March 29 th J uly 10. On display at the museum will be original art by Clement Hurd, Leonard Weisgard, Garth Williams, Esphyr Slobodkina, Tibor Gergely, and other Brown collaborators, as well as memorabilia and related artwork by Wanda Gag, Edward Steichen, and others.
