Here in Monona, we love the illustrations of "My Light" by Molly Bang! And we feel that the text is appropriate for the age level and fun for reading out loud. We are uncomfortable with the first person voice of the sun in a non-fiction book. We don't mind the extra text at the back. Our non-fiction books for elementary to adult are interfiled. We feel that the patrons who pick the book will be able to decide for themselves or for their "audience" whether it is appropriate for them to read those last pages. We like the
"spot illustrations within that section to work as kind of a visual index." Karen
