Bucking the Sarge

I agree with Susan that Bucking the Sarge is less satisfying a read than one has come to expect from CPC (I also did the audio version). When the book was over, I was convinced that a main motivation for it was to create a series or at least a sequel about Luther T. Farrell. However, Chris told me straight out that he is not planning any sequel, so I am more miffed about it since there are certain changes in LTF from beginning to end of book, but, as Susan said, not much of consequence.
Also, I found the mother character a little too over the top.
