I haven't read her second book, but now I"ll put in on my reading list! I read her first--Drawing Lessons--and really enjoyed it. I loved its seeming simplicity w/much deeper issues hidden below the surface. Too many books lately
(especially YAs), I think, try to cover too much and end up failing. I guess I'm a fan of the "quiet" book.
fyi: my brain is a little cluttered today, along w/my "in box," so if the above thought didn't make much sense, then please accept my apologies!
