What I appreciated about Molly Bang's MY LIGHT is that it provides such logical and understandable progressions linking solar radiation to hydro, wind, fossil fuels, and solar electric production. I believe it to be the finest introduction to renewable energy sources for young readers that is in print today. When coupled with Bang's COMMON GROUND readers are given a rare "big picture" view of possibly the most important problem facing the planet and the upcoming generation.
