The Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC) of the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has launched a new web site.

The main url for the CCBC site has not changed:

www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/

If you have bookmarked internal pages on the old CCBC web site, these will have changed.
  In addition to more streamlined organization, one of the most exciting features of the new web site is the online CCBC Directory of Wisconsin Children's Book Creators.

This online Directory (which replaces earlier print Directories) currently features contact and program information from more than 60 authors and illustrators living in Wisconsin and willing to make appearances at schools and libraries. The online Directory enables authors and illustrators to add entries or update their information at any time. Visitors to the CCBC site can browse the Directory, or search by name or Wisconsin city/county. The online Directory was developed with financial support from the Wisconsin Educational Media Association and the Youth Services Section and Wisconsin Association of School Librarians of the Wisconsin Library Association,
