The CCBC held a mock Batchelder Discussion on Wednesday afternoon, December 15. The results of the disussion and voting were:
Winner:

Honor Book:
Daniel, Half Human and the Good Nazi by David Chotjewitz. Translated from the German by Doris Orgel. 298 pages. U.S. edition: Atheneum
The Mildred L. Batchelder Award goes to the publisher of the oustanding translated book of the year. The actual Batchelder Award Committee results will be announced on Monday, January 17, 2005, at the American Library Association Midwinter meeting in Boston.
